II. 20 of the participants in the above study were immunized at 8.00 hours and the other 20 at
20.00 hours on the same day. Although there was no significant difference between the two
groups with regard to clinical reactions, those immunized at 20.00 hours had significantly
more pronounced biochemical and morphological changes. It is suggested that the effect of
an infectious microorganism upon the human host may depend on the time of exposure. AH
