Parathyroid hormone (PTH) stimulates osteoclast formation by binding to its receptor on
stromal/osteoblastic cells and stimulating the production of receptor activator of NFκB ligand
(RANKL) and inhibiting the expression of osteoprotegerin (OPG). However, the mechanisms
