Publisher Summary Within cells, retinol and retinoic acid are associated with specific
intracellular retinoid-binding proteins: cellular retinol-binding protein (CRBP) and cellular
retinoic acid-binding protein (CRABP). These two immunologically distinct proteins appear
to be the most widely distributed of the intracellular retinoid-binding proteins, having been
